Saudi envoy calls on PM Imran, reaffirms fraternal ties
Meeting focuses on bilateral cooperation, Covid-19 situation
ISLAMABAD:
The ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, on Monday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan.
The meeting between the two focused on bilateral cooperation and the current Covid-19 situation. The resolve to further strengthen the strong, longstanding Pakistan-Saudi Arabia fraternal ties was reaffirmed during the visit.
The Saudi envoy last week met the Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the military’s headquarters in Rawalpindi and discussed matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting matters of regional security situation and bilateral defence relations between the two brotherly countries were also discussed, it added.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that Nadeem Baber has exposed lies of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The Information Minister said on the one hand, external enemy is committing the crime of spreading false information against Pakistan and on the other hand, the alliance of opposition parties is spreading frustration among the people by resorting to lies.
He said elements that are spreading disappointment will remain frustrated.
The minister said that the surge in the country’s exports has broken the record of last ten years and Pakistan is speedily advancing towards progress and prosperity under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Foreign Affairs Ministry condoles death of journalist Tariq Mahmood Malik

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has offered its deepest condolences over the sad demise of senior and seasoned journalist Tariq Mahmood Malik who covered the Foreign Office for over two decades with great distinction.
“Our thoughts and prayers go out to the departed soul, his family and friends,” said a statement issued by the Ministry on Thursday.
The statement said that Mr. Tariq Mahmood’s death is an irreparable loss to the media and journalists’ fraternity.
“He will be missed profoundly by his friends and colleagues including in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as millions of his viewers and followers,” the statement added.
