SWOSU Press Release Southwestern Oklahoma State University (SWOSU) has announced the receipt of a major gift from Vance T. Nye of Edmond. Nye, a 1990 SWOSU alumnus from Weatherford, has made a generous contribution to the SWOSU Football Legacy Fund. The SWOSU Football Legacy Fund was established in 2015 to provide private support to the SWOSU football program. “We are so thankful to Vance Nye for his continued investment in and involvement with SWOSU football,” said SWOSU Athletic Director Todd Helton. “Private gifts are crucial to our success, and donors like Vance who give back to our programs make it possible for our student-athletes to reach higher.”
