SWAT teams have left and all that remains are a couple Oakland County Sheriff deputies at a home in a spacious neighborhood north of Rochester. Police said a man had threatened to hurt himself and his wife had left the home with their kids before calling police the night before.
A man was allegedly threatening to hurt himself when his wife and kids left and called the police.
The scene was made secure early Thursday morning around 7:30 a.m., police said.

Police said a man had threatened to hurt himself and his wife had left the home with their kids before calling police the night before.
SWAT units and deputies from the Oakland County Sheriff s Office had responded after receiving a complaint that a man was threatening to commit suicide at home north of the city.
After police initially got in touch with the suspect over the phone, they heard a single gunshot before losing contact.
Deputies responded to the residence at Mead Road and Waverly Drive after receiving a call from a woman around 10 p.m. the night before.

Anne Doroghazi was a worker at Camp Dearborn. She was 20 years old when her body was found on the side of the road. She had been strangled.
The Cold Case Unit at the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the murder.
Camp Dearborn, a 600-acre recreational retreat in Milford, is a place where many families spent their summers.
Anne Doroghazi’s brother, Bill Doroghazi, was a camp counselor in the youth camp in the 80s. He said what happened to his sister when she worked at the camp still haunts him.
