The event was postponed last year due to pandemic Share Updated: 6:47 PM EDT Apr 10, 2021 Run Vermont held its 15th annual half-marathon Saturday morning.Almost 600 runners came out in near 70-degree weather to participate in the race.It s something participants weren t able to do in 2020, when the event was postponed because of the pandemic. I think certainly a lot of people are out because they re preparing for summer races, certainly today and this year they re out because it s the first opportunity they ve had to get out into an organized event once again. So we re happy to give them the opportunity, said Peter Delaney, with Run Vermont.Runners were asked to be mindful of each other and wear masks after crossing the finish line.Participants were also given start times in intervals to help with social distancin
