A 50-year-old woman died following a two-car motor vehicle accident early Tuesday morning in Vernon, the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Early results from the Sheriff’s Office Forensics and Criminal Investigation Units found Jacob R. Bouck, 20, was driving a 2005 Subaru Outback in a westerly direction on Youngs Road around 6:45 a.m. when he left his lane and entered into the eastbound lane.
Bouck’s vehicle then hit a 2007 Volkswagen Rabbit operated by Tracy A. Cornish, 50, deputies said, and she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
