Born in Perryville, he lived in Chittenango for 66 years.
He had owned the Oswego Tavern for several years, and the Seneca Tavern in Chittenango for 12 years, according to his obituary.
He also drove school bus for the Chittenango School District and retired from the New York State Thruway Authority after 13 years.
