Muscat: Frank Oman is the first Omani food supplement developed by the Dhofar University Research Center and manufactured by the Swiss company Alpinamed AG.
According to the Al Shabiba report, Frank Oman is the first Omani food supplement developed by the Dhofar University Research Center. It s produced using Omani frankincense gum and manufactured by the Swiss company Alpinamed AG in the form of tablets to be taken via the mouth. The product is certified by the Swiss Medicines Authority and manufactured according to its requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice GMP standards.
This achievement, which was reached after more than a year of cooperation between Dhofar University and the AlpinaMed AG-Switzerland, which included conducting joint studies that included chemical analyzes of the active substances in Omani frankincense gum with advanced and sophisticated equipment in each of the company’s laboratories and Dhofar University independently. Muscat: Oman’s vaccination drive currently targets those above 60 years of age among the general community. According to the latest official figures, close to 55,000 have been given their second dose in Oman.

Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Health said that there is no truth in the news circulating on social media about an impending curfew in Oman.
“The Ministry of Health would like to clarify that the news circulating on social media on this subject is not true.”
The news was shared with many citizens and residents alike about a full closure on activities that will happen soon and that a proposal to activate such a closure will be presented to Supreme Committee on Monday.
