Adeboye made the call four years ago in a sermon to young people.
He also advised the young women not to marry a man who has no job, stressing that a man that has no steady means of income should not get married.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has prayed for Governor Udom Emmanuel’s successor, asking God to give Akwa Ibom a Governor in 2023 that will continue with the prevailing peace and development of the state and take it to greater heights.
This came minutes after the General Overseer who arrived the State on Saturday, finished from a Sunday Service he held at the Discovery Park in Uyo which was attended by a mammoth crowd of believers as part of his weekend Pastoral activities in Uyo, the State capital.

The Senior Pastor of Abuja-based Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche said on Friday that he has not acquired any Private Jet yet.
He dismissed as “absolutely false and totally untrue” reports in some quarters that his church recently acquired a private jet.
The cleric said though his ministry could afford to acquire a private jet for the “purpose of easy, stress-less and aggressive spread of the gospel”, the church was yet to buy one.
Enenche made this known in a statement on Friday through his Secretary, Sylvester Edoh.
The statement titled, ‘On The Purported Acquisition Of A Private Jet’ partly read, “By God’s grace, we do not lack the capacity to acquire or own a private jet for the sake of the gospel.
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has suggested prayers as a way of tackling banditry.
Adeboye said the power of prayers would help curb the menace of banditry and all forms of criminality in the country.
The RCCG G.O. stated this when he visited Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State over the weekend.
He also frowned at the abduction of a traditional ruler in the State and the shooting of another monarch.
Adeboye lamented that citizens no longer regard traditional rulers.
