Weld County Deputy Saves 19-Year-Old From Drug Overdose
A deputy with the Weld County Sheriff s Office saved the life of a 19-year-old over the weekend, after the young man suffered a suspected drug overdose.
The family of the 19-year-old man contacted the WCSO on Saturday (March 6) after they found him lying on the floor, possibly overdosing on fentanyl and Xanax.
According to a press release shared on Facebook, deputies responded to the home, which is west of Fort Lupton, at approximately 10:47 a.m. and located the man on the floor in a bathroom. The man was unresponsive and gasping for breath.
