St. Patrick s Day 4 Miler run moved to Corporate Woods

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. â Several people took part in the St. Patrick s Day 4 Miler run on Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri.
This was the 43rd year of the event, which usually is held in Westport. This year the event was moved to Corporate Woods. The race kicked off at 8 a.m.
Safety measures, such as pre-screening for runners and volunteers, were in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Organizers also discouraged family members from attending the event to watch loved ones participate.
Runners wore masks at the start and finish line but were allowed to take them off during the race.

Kristin Sollars was the first nurse in the health system to get the vaccine three weeks ago.
The front line workers at Saint Luke s that got Pfizer s COVID-19 vaccine started to get their last dose this past week.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â The front line workers at Saint Luke s got their last dose of Pfizer s COVID-19 vaccine last week.
A little more than three weeks ago, the hospital started to vaccinate front line workers. Kristin Sollars was the first nurse at Saint Luke s to get the shot as she works frequently with COVID-19 patients. Pfizer recommends that anyone wait 21 days after the first dose before getting the booster.
