Deputies: Hawesville man charged with attempted murder after fleeing authorities By 14 News Staff | February 3, 2021 at 9:18 AM CST - Updated February 8 at 11:43 AM DAVIESS CO., Ky. (WFIE) - The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says the man they were looking for after a burglary last week has been caught. They say Owensboro Police arrested 30-year-old Robert Simpson on several warrants Sunday. Deputies say he was wanted in a burglary case that happened last Tuesday evening in the 4600 block of Medley Road. They say two suspects took off running when they arrived. One of them, 28-year-old Darren Simpson, was caught. He’s Robert’s brother.
