CHESTER A Chester woman is facing drug charges after a search warrant of a residence on Saturday night.
In an news release, Meigs County Sheriff Keith O. Wood reported that in the late-night hours of Saturday, March 6, agents with the Gallia-Meigs Major Crimes Task Force as well as deputies with his office and officers with the Middleport and Syracuse Police Departments executed a search warrant at 36380 New Hope Road in Chester after a long investigation into the alleged trafficking of illegal narcotics coming from the residence.
Deputies were able to obtain probable cause for the search warrant earlier in the evening and a search warrant was obtained for the residence. According to Task Force Agents, when entry was made into the residence multiple subjects were found to be inside. All subjects were detained at this time and secured while a search of the residence took place.

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Four men were indicted by the Cuyahoga County Grand Jury on nearly 50 felony charges; including, drug trafficking, theft, grand theft, receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, vandalism and possessing criminal tools.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said John Harrison, Joseph Adams, Dwayne Robertson and Jason Jachna were indicted on RICO charges of engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity and conspiracy. Indicted on RiCO charges in connection with massive theft ring. (Source: Cuyahoga County Sheriff)

Nine people were arrested on multiple charges and methamphetamine and suspected fentanyl were recovered by city, county and state law enforcement officers Tuesday in Belpre.
The actions were the result of an investigation by the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission and Washington Monroe Morgan Noble Major Crimes Task Force, whose agents executed a trio of search warrants with the help of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team and the Belpre Police Department.
“Our department’s … been watching all three locations for about six months,” Belpre Police Chief Terry Williams said. “They were all intertwined.”
