Peggy Bosela of Youngstown stands in âthe lot,â an area at Hubbard Road and Albert Street in the northeast part of Youngstown, where she has been cutting the grass, planting flowers and decorating for the holidays for about 15 years.

YOUNGSTOWN Peggy Bosela adopted some city-owned property on Albert Street near Hubbard Road 15 years ago with the idea of making it look more inviting to the people passing through each day.
For years, her fondness for “the lot” grew, as did the number of people who honked, waved and helped her with her labors by providing her with flowers or gallons of water to nourish them.
