Drayton Arnold is one of 13 finalists for the STATS FCS Doris Robinson Scholar-Athlete Award. Thirteen FCS players – one from each conference in college football s Division I subdivision – were announced Wednesday as finalists for the national honor. Named after the late school teacher and wife of legendary Grambling State coach Eddie Robinson, the sixth annual award is presented to an FCS student-athlete who excels not only in the classroom, but in the community and beyond. Youth, 15, Shot While Standing Outside On 6th Avenue Thursday, April 29, 2021
At approximately 8:49 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a report of a person shot in the 2500 block of 6th Avenue.
Upon arrival, Officers located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and secured the scene. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
The victim said he was standing outside with other people when he heard a gunshot and realized he had been struck.

Georgia state health officials reported on Wednesday there are 64 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 17,486. There are 922 new cases, as that total reaches 877,816 confirmed cases of coronavirus.
Hospitalizations are at 61,370, which is an increase of 127 from Tuesday.
