As Andrew Tobias reports, the House plan calls for phasing in the new formula, which would increase K-12 funding by $1.8 billion once it’s in full effect, over six years. Lawmakers also axed from the bill Gov. Mike DeWine’s gun reforms, which previously languished after they were introduced last year, as well as DeWine’s plan to spend $50 million on an ad campaign promoting the state.
