Cahir Suir Blueway Infrastructure Enhancement will receive €200,000. This funding will be used to develop the walkway from Cahir Castle to the Swiss Cottage, while Beara-Breifne Way, connecting Lorrha to Portumna, was allocated almost €82,000. The Minister for Rural & Community Development, Heather Humpreys, announced over €6.5 million in funding today, for 38 projects under Measure 2 of the scheme. She is expected to make a further announcement in respect of measure 3 projects, which are larger projects accessing funding of up to €500,000 each, in the coming weeks.
