Doha: A short video of melting ice in the Antarctic was enough to spark the interest of Moza Al Hajri, who has always been concerned about global warming and its impact on the environment one of the most pressing issues in the global arena, demanding the attention of governments, decisionmakers, and the world’s youth.
And it is the reason for Moza’s excitement at representing Qatar, and participating in debates and discussions about the environment and sustainability, in the Fifth International Schools Debating Championship.
Organised by QatarDebate, a member of Qatar Foundation, it takes place from April 3 to 7, and, for the first time, is being held in both Arabic and English, with 50 countries participating in each category.
