A new special celebrating recovery, âFirst Step Home: Hope, Help, Healing,â will air Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on WCPO.
First Step Home is the premier womenâs substance abuse disorder treatment facility in Cincinnati. The WCPO special, emceed by Mona Morrow, will include the annual First Step Home Awards Celebration recognizing those who have been supportive through the years and celebrating the success of clients in recovery.

Hopedale, IL - Hopedale Medical Complex employees strive each day to advance the mission and vision that is rooted in the foundation of the medical complex.
Teresa Birdsell from the Environmental Health Services (EHS) Department at HMC was named as the January Employee of the Month. In her nomination, EHS Manager Kathy Roach shared, “Teresa has been our go-to staff member for after-hours Terminal Cleaning throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Teresa has kept a positive outlook and a determined demeanor throughout the entire pandemic.” In May of 2021, Birdsell will be celebrating a milestone employment anniversary of 25 years at the complex.
