THE legal representative of a North West prosecutor accused of stealing food and clothing worth R3 000 is demanding that the matter be struck off the roll. Jeanette Neveling (53) was arrested in February on allegations of shoplifting at Woolworths at The Crossing Shopping Centre in Mahikeng. The NPA was left with the huge job of going through Neveling’s presentation, which might leave them with no choice but to reinstate her. The presentation was handed over to the state prosecutor, but its contents were not read in court.
