Chris Anderson, Harding Academy baseball: In a 6-5 win over Ashdown in a 3A semifinal, Anderson homered, walked, scored two runs and drove in three.
Macey Cutsinger, Greenwood softball: Cutsinger had three hits and three RBIs in an 11-5 second-round win over Marion in the 5A playoffs and two more RBIs in a 7-5 semifinal victory against Mountain Home. In a 3-0 first-round win over Lake Hamilton, she tripled, singled and drove in a run.

BENTON, Ark. (KAIT) - State championship week is upon us and several NEA teams are still eyeing some hardware this week as they head to Benton.
Below is the schedule as well as highlights and reaction from this week’s festivities.
Baseball:
Class 4A: Magnolia vs. Valley View- Saturday @ 1:00
Class 3A: Harding Academy vs. Walnut Ridge- Friday @ 4:00
Class 1A: Izard County vs. Viola- Saturday @ 7:00
Softball:
Class 2A: Tuckerman vs. Mansfield- Thursday @ 10:00am
