KENILWORTH, NJ – Get to know John and Janet Ondrey! If you or your child like music or the outdoors and adventure, you probably know or have heard of the Ondrey’s. John is currently the Director of Bands at Harding Elementary School and his wife Janet is a Speech Language Pathologist at Salt Brook Elementary School in New Providence. The Ondrey’s both help run Cub Scout Pack 83 right here in Kenilworth. John is the Cubmaster and Janet is the Pack Committee Chair. Together they make quite the team. John is originally from Cranford and Janet’s hometown is East Hanover. They met by ‘chance’ at a lounge in Morristown and from that moment as John says, “it was meant to be.” They married on July 31, 2004. John began at David Brearley in 1998 as Director of the Bands before moving over to Harding. At Harding he runs two bands, the Silver Band and the Hawks Band. Janet has worked as a Speech Language Pathologist for 22 years. They have two wonderful boys who are also music
