As many resident welfare associations are organising
vaccination drives, a
gated community in Whitefield organised the first ‘drive-through’ vaccination drive on their campus. People came in their cars, got injected, and drove away.
The gated community, Palm Meadows in Ramagondanahalli, organised their vaccination drive for recipients above the age of 45.
Ram Ramakrishnan, a freelance consultant and the vice-president of Palm Meadows Owners’ Association Management Committee said that they had conducted a walk-in vaccination drive earlier for the members of their community.
