The Political Bureau on April 9 assigned four of its members to join the 13th Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, raising its total members to 11.

The newly-assigned members are Truong Thi Mai, Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee’s Organisation Commission; Tran Cam Tu, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission; Phan Dinh Trac, Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Internal Affairs; and Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court.

Second phase of Nano Covax human trials set for completion on Apr.8
Vietnam is scheduled to finalize the second phase of human trials for NanoCovax, a local-produced novel coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine, on April 8.
According to Chu Van Men, director of the Military Medical University’s Centre for Clinical Trials and Bioequivalence, the majority of vaccinated individuals during the second-stage of human trials, remain in a stable condition . Only a few of those who received the jab recorded a mild pain around the injection site, whilst some had a fever which disappeared after only one or two days.
Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member, head of the Party Central Committee s Organisation Commission and deputy to the 14th legislature, was elected as Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam at the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly on April 5 in Hanoi.
