Doha: Traditional handicraft workshops at the ongoing International Cultural Market for Handcraft and Traditional industries at the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) have witnessed a huge turnout.
More than 11 workshops on handicrafts, including ceramics, painting on glass, crochet works, palm fronds work, making lamps, making beads, making beaded bracelets, engraving on gypsum, and all kinds of embroidery are being organised at the cultural market. They are held at the courtyards of buildings 45, 47, and 48 from Tuesday to Saturday from 4 pm to 9 pm until March 1 under the supervision of craftsmen and artisans from Qatar and other participating countries.
