Woman Arrested After She Points Gun at Wildwood Police Officers
A woman is under arrest after pointing a gun at City of Wildwood Police officers who were responding to a call at a local residence.
Wildwood Police say that just before 5am Friday morning, police officers responded to a call about an intoxicated female at a local address.

When officers arrived on the scene in the 4200 block of Pacific Avenue, they started climbing a staircase leading to a second floor unit. At that time, Kelly Longbottom, 56, opened the door, yelled at police officers, and pointed a firearm in their direction. Police say Longbottom then quickly went back into the residence, and closed the door behind her.
Abbeville Man Arrested after Report of Alleged Kidnapping
37-year-old Michael BJ O Bryan, Jr. of Abbeville has been arrested after Maurice Police responded to a local business where a woman was alleging to have been kidnapped.
According to a press release, Vermilion Parish Sheriff Mike Couvillon (whose office assisted in the case) says O Bryan tried to get away on foot but was quickly taken into custody. His vehicle was then searched and drugs and a firearm was found by police.
O Bryan has been charged with the following:
Possession of Schedule I, (Marijuana)
Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I , (MDMA)
Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II, (Methamphetamine)
Little Egg Harbor Township Woman Arrested on Drug Charges
A 37-year-old Little Egg Harbor Township woman has been arrested on drug charges.
Little Egg Harbor Township Police say they executed a court-ordered search warrant at a home in the 200 block of Falcon Drive last Thursday and found a quantity of methamphetamine and related paraphernalia.

Police charged Kristina M. Listes, 37, with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Police say they also arrested Antonio T. Clements, 35, of Little Egg Harbor on an outstanding warrant charge out of Ocean County Court.
49-Year-Old Man Dead in Wildwood, He Was Involved in Fight
Wildwood Police have released details surrounding the death of a 49-year-old man that occurred over the weekend.
Police say that at 12:15pm Saturday, they were called to a residence on East Garfield Avenue. When they arrived they found the man unconscious and unresponsive. Life-saving efforts were made by emergency personnel, but it was determined that the man had died.
Police quickly found that prior to collapsing, the man had been involved in a fight with a man who had remained on the scene - Jason Popplewell, 35, of Wildwood.
Popplewell was taken into custody and transported to the Wildwood Police station.
