POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - The Polk County Sheriffâs Office investigation into cocaine laced with fentanyl led to nine drug arrests.
An investigation related to overdoses where one person died and three others were admitted into hospitals led detectives to the E Capps Rd area searching for the laced drug and âMomma Louâ.
On Wednesday, March 10, Narcotics Detectives located Lou Ann Hudson aka; âMomma Louâ, just off of E Capps Rd. Detectives searched the home and found eight people in possession of methamphetamine and items used to distribute illegal narcotics.

The Brownwood Police Department issued the following press release Monday regarding a man that was arrested twice in less than a week:
On Friday, March 12, 2021, at approximately 8:25 p.m., Officer Roberto Rodriguez was traveling in the 1800 block of Avenue D, when he observed someone he knew to be 31 year old Cody Vuittonet driving an SUV on 6th St. Vuittonet traveled to 7th St and came to a stop around 7th St and Ave D. Officer Rodriguez, having knowledge of warrants for Vuittonet’s arrest, exited his vehicle and detained him for the warrants.
A communications check confirmed that Vuittonet had a warrant for his arrest out of Pardon and Parole and out of Brown County for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1, between 1 and 200 grams. Vuittonet was arrested for these warrants.

Iowa City Police say a suspected drug dealer claimed he needed the money to pay for an upcoming move.
53-year-old Ken Greene of Boston Way was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 4:30 Saturday afternoon. Iowa City Police pulled Greene over near the corner of Muscatine Avenue and Arthur Street just before 3:45 Saturday afternoon for driving a 2007 Chevy Impala without license plates. He was arrested for Driving While Barred.
Greene was wanted for a separate incident last month. Police say he was also pulled over at Highway 6 East and Keokuk Street just after 9:45 on February 6
th for a traffic violation and for not having any plates on his 2006 Buick Rendezvous. He was also arrested for Driving While Barred during that traffic stop, and a search of his vehicle allegedly turned up a digital scale with white residue, five baggies of meth, a baggie of marijuana, and approximately $160 in cash.
