A 44-year-old Grain Valley man is facing drug- and weapon-related felony charges after a traffic stop in Saline County about a year and a half ago.
A report from a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper says, on November 30, 2019, during a search of the vehicle, he located $1,536 in rolled up U.S. currency; a clear plastic bag with two grams of methamphetamine; two pistols with an abundance of ammunition; several vacuum-sealed bags of marijuana; vape pen cartridges; a scale; and other drug-related items.
According to court documents, a criminal summons has been issued and Brent Wayne Collins is charged with a Class C Felony for Delivery of a Controlled Substance; and Class D Felonies for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
