Two individuals from Brunswick House First Nation are accused of providing the opioids which resulted in two fatal overdoses.
On Jan. 30, 2021, at approximately 6:30 a.m., members of the Superior East Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a residence where a 35-year-old person was found unresponsive and was later pronounced deceased.

Then on Feb. 2, 2021, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers performed a well-being check on a 55-year-old person and found them deceased inside their residence.

SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND-Six Nations Police have arrested six people in a drug raid on a Mohawk Road address January 22, 2021.
Police said they executed a search warrant for a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act at the unknown address on Mohawk Road.
Police said they arrested two men and two women upon arrival and another two men who were in the process of leaving the property were also arrested.
As a result of the investigation and search, firearms and ammunition, large amounts of Canadian and American currency, Oxycodone, Cocaine, stolen vehicles, two ATV’s and one side by side off road vehicle were seized. No values or amounts of seized items were provided.

Two Corozaleños Busted with Drugs!
Two Corozaleños were busted with a stash of drugs at a checkpoint on Monday evening. Around five o’clock, cops at the Manatee Lookout stopped a pickup truck with Orange Walk license plate driven by Herman Friesen of Little Belize and passenger Gerardo Lino of Progresso Village. The police officers searched the vehicle and discovered one thousand one hundred and thirty-two grams of weed. The packets were found inside the panel of the passenger doors. Police later searched Friesen’s phone case where they found one point five grams of cocaine. Around one-thirty this morning, police searched Friesen’s house at Camp Twenty-eight in Little Belize and found eight transparent plastic bags with two hundred and twelve grams of weed and a plastic bottle with two packets of one point two grams of cocaine.
