A routine traffic stop has resulted in the seizure of drugs for Provincial Police in Fort Frances.
Officers pulled over a vehicle on Sunday afternoon shortly after 3 o’clock for a Highway Traffic Act violation.
Police found more than four grams of Fentanyl, 16 Hydromorphone pills, and 18 Morphine pills.
OPP say 27 year old Dylan Pattison faces a total of four charges and 20 year old Riley Bimm faces two charges.
Both of the accused are from Fort Frances.

There was a record number of illicit-drug overdose deaths in British Columbia in 2020. And the Canadian Association for Safe Supply has linked this high number to inaction on the part of the provincial government.
According to the group s cofounder, Jordan Westfall, the province was caught flat-footed during a pandemic when we needed physical distancing and safe supply .
In a news release, he said that few could access that supply and it wasn’t exactly safe, although patients were never told that.” That needs to change, Westfall said, 83,000 people struggle with opioid dependence placing them at higher overdose risk.
