BUSINESSES in Northumberland which have been forced to close due to coronavirus restrictions can access a new package of support. Northumberland County Council will contact eligible businesses via email, and once brief details have been confirmed payments covering a six-week period will be made. The business support package for the lockdown from 5 January onwards includes two elements:
Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed) Addendum: 5 January – 15 February; and
A one-off Closed Business Lockdown Payment. If applicable, payment for the five days from 31 December to 4 January, to cover Tier 4 restrictions, will also be included. The amounts payable will be dependent on the rateable value of the business.

Plymouth City Council has announced that a number of different grant schemes are available to businesses impacted by the Covid-19 restrictions.
The council is working as quickly as possible to process applications and distribute the funding, and wants to make sure that eligible businesses do not miss out.

Newark and Sherwood District Council urges those affected by covid to apply for business support grants

An application form has been produced for businesses to apply for financial support if they were affected when Newark and Sherwood entered tier four and the latest national lockdown.
Applications will close at 5pm on Friday, January, 29.
All businesses are urged to apply as soon as possible and Newark and Sherwood District Council has officers ready to start processing grant payments immediately.
