Heating and Ventilation News Heating specialists must only perform repairs and maintenance work that might otherwise threaten safety in homes as part stricter lockdown restrictions to be enforced from Saturday Scotland will introduce stricter lockdown measures this weekend that will restrict tradespeople to only enter peoples’ home in the country to conduct “essential work or services”. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said further restrictions were being introduced across a range of sectors to tackle concerns about national Covid-19 infection rates.  From Saturday 16 January, everyone able to work from home must do so under the new guidance. Specialists such as individuals working in the heating sector and other trade specialists are meanwhile asked only to carry out repairs and maintenance “that would otherwise threaten the household’s health and safety”.
