A THREE-year-old girl and her one-year-old sister have embarked on a 28-miles in 28 days challenge in memory of their grandmother. Sophie, who attends Taunton School Nursery, hit on the idea of walking, jogging, running, cycling, scooting and jumping a mile a day throughout February. Amber is joining her big sister, although she only manages half the distance before being carried or pushed around in her pushchair as Sophie completes the daily task. The girls are hoping their marathon efforts will raise £1,000 in sponsorship for Pancreatic Cancer UK. She is supporting the charity after losing her gran, Kim Foord, to the disease last year.
