Gladstone School Board member resigns day after taking oath July 29 2021 Greg Lind, first elected to board in 2017, steps down soon after beginning second term in office Former Gladstone School Board Chair Greg Lind resigned July 16, the day after he was sworn into office for a second term. A teacher in the David Douglas School District for 21 years, Lind easily won reelection with 62.8% of the May 18 vote. Lind said he ran for reelection with the full intention to serve another full term, but then family considerations, including his two teenage daughters, took precedence over the volunteer position. Some people, maybe many people, wanted me to continue serving on the school board, and I hope that I haven t let them down, but I have to serve my family first, Lind said.
