LA VALLETTA (MALTA) (ITALPRESS/MNA) – The rate of vaccination against COVID-19 in Malta is the highest and the fastest in the EU. This was confirmed by the Maltese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Chris Fearne.
He said that by next Sunday, Malta is expected to reach the target of administering 50,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines, two weeks before the official schedule.
Meanwhile, the Maltese health authorities said that the first consignment of AstraZeneca vaccine is safe after temperature issues developed. Health Minister confirmed that this vaccine will be administered as from today. Fearne also said that as from next month, Malta would have another 250,000 doses of the fourth vaccine, manufactured by Johnson & Johnson.
Regrets and compassion
Doctors for Choice’s latest extraordinary excuse for legislating in favour of the introduction of abortion services in Malta is that 95 per cent of women asked in a survey apparently expressed no regret over the fact that they ended their unborn children’s prospects of having any sort of life without ever having offered them the choice whether to live or die.
They go on to claim the moral high ground with a plea for compassion.
One is obliged to ask them to justify their absence of compassion for the child evidently afforded no right whatsoever to plead for her/his own life.

Reference is made to an article which appeared in Times of Malta regarding the condominium administrator. I would like to know if a condominus can give his/her proxy to the administrator for the AGMs?
Can the condominus be barred from giving his proxy to the administrator for fear that decisions taken by him would not be to the advantage of the condominus?
In other words, can the condominus just give his/her proxy to the block representative only and not to the administrator so s/he can then be sure that the block rep would have his/her best interests at heart?
Labour MEP Alex Agius Saliba launches European Medicinal Cannabis Alliance
The alliance will focus on patients rights and harmonisation of EU legislation on medicinal cannabis

Labour MEP Alex Agius Saliba, together with other S&D MEPs, has launched the European Medicinal Cannabis Alliance to help introduce a set of harmonised standards for medicinal cannabis across all EU Member States.
“Today, being World Cancer Day, is a very important day to launch this alliance, as a lot of cancer patients are awaiting their medicinal cannabis treatment and are facing obstacles every day. Medical cannabis is increasingly being used more frequently to treat patients with various conditions, and science is showing that the results are very encouraging, he stated.
