While a number of people have already expressed interest in participating, residents of either community who may be interested in serving on one of five committees still have until Friday to contact Jody Leazott, Administrative Assistant to Superintendent Darcy Fernandes at jleazott@arrsd.org. “The goal is very simple,” Fernandes told the Athol Daily News. “The school district services the community and ultimately, therefore, comes the strategic plan what is the community looking for from the schools? That’s really what we’re trying to find out, and ensure we’re moving in the direction in which the community wishes us to move.
