LOUISVILLE, Ky. Kentucky s largest school district should require anyone inside its schools, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask, Superintendent Marty Pollio said Monday.
In an email to families Monday evening, Pollio said he would recommend a universal mask requirement to the Jefferson County school board Tuesday evening.
Any mask policy is subject to approval by the seven-member school board, which is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. at Central High School Tuesday.
If approved, Pollio s recommendation would require all students, staff and visitors to wear a mask inside district buildings. Masks would not be required outside.
