3,249 New COVID-19 Cases, 48 More Virus-Related Deaths Reported In State, Health Officials Say
Forty-eight more virus-related deaths and 3,249 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Tuesday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 287,030 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the total number of virus-related deaths increased to 2,453, the state health department said on Wednesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 3,249, the state health department said.
Sixteen people died in Tulsa County; a woman aged 50 to 64 and seven women and eight men aged 65 or older.
Ten people died in Cleveland County; two women and a man aged 36 to 49, one woman and two men aged 50 to 64, and one woman and three men aged 65 or older.
