Twenty-eight more virus-related deaths and 1,764 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Tuesday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 441,906 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the provisional death count of virus-related deaths is at 7,994, the state health department said on Wednesday.
The state health department said they added approximately 1,300 previously unreported cases which happened in the last four months, resulting in the artificially high new case number for Wednesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 506 with the cases reported and 306 without the previously unreported cases

OSDH: 120 New COVID-19 Cases Reported, 5 More Virus-Related Deaths Added To Provisional Death Count
Five more virus-related deaths and 120 new coronavirus cases were reported in the state since Monday, according to daily numbers released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
A total of 440,142 Oklahomans have tested positive for COVID-19 and the provisional death count of virus-related deaths is at 7,966, the state health department said on Tuesday.
The seven-day rolling average for new cases reported was 310
, the state health department said.
As of Wednesday, 1,895,546 total vaccine doses have been administered and 1,004,983 prime doses have been given by the state. More than 595,000 Oklahomans have completed both inoculations.
