Are you subscribed to YouTube TV? If you are, then you might be interested to learn that YouTube has announced a new subscription option for YouTube TV called 4K Plus. As the name implies, this new tier will allow users to stream content in 4K resolution as well as a bunch of other features.

According to YouTube, “With 4K Plus, you’ll have access to watch major sports events this summer in 4K, plus live content from networks like NBC and ESPN, sports like college football and basketball later this year and on-demand content from FX, Discovery Networks, Tastemade and more.”

(Pocket-lint) - YouTube TV has quietly introduced a new add-on package called 4K Plus. It offers two widely anticipated features: 4K playback and offline downloads. But it isn t free.
The live TV service is bundling them together under 4K Plus, which is available now, for an extra $19.99 per month. That s in addition to the standard $64.99 YouTube TV subscription, meaning the total cost of your plan could be as much as $85 if you want to watch in 4K and download content for offline viewing. The good news is Google is offering a free one-month trial to 4K Plus. And, if you sign up early, you can get the add-on package for $9.99 per month for the first year.
