The American whiskeys thus far released from this brand, based in Nashville, Tennessee, have generally been well received. Now, in a rather unique endeavor, Heaven’s Door has teamed with well loved Irish whiskey label Redbreast, owned by Pernod Ricard, on a new offering. The new Heaven’s Door The Master Blenders’ Edition, according to those behind it, was created in tandem by master blenders Ryan Perry of Heaven’s Door and Billy Leighton of Redbreast. It was more than two years in the making, with the two blenders working through a multitude of blends and barrel finishes before arriving at their final whiskey profile.
