Qatar Charity delivers relief aid to Syrian refugees in Lebanon’s Arsal

Qatar Charity (QC) has distributed winter and relief aid to Syrian refugees in Arsal, Lebanon to meet their urgent needs and alleviate their suffering, given the problematic humanitarian situation faced by the refugees. The aid comes as part of Qatar Charity’s ongoing “Qatar Relief Convoys” drive.
The first consignment of aid, which is distributed in Arsal, in cooperation with the Islamic Medical Association, aims to meet the needs of more than 2,700 families, with approximately 13, 500 individuals. The 9 trucks of aid have 2,700 relief items, including basic food and other things.
(MENAFN - Gulf Times) Qatar Charity (QC) has received in-kind donations from the Qatar Football Association (QFA) for the benefit of workers.
The in-kind donations, which come as part of QFA s social responsibility, included sports equipment and clothes of various sizes.
Besides, Qatar Charity recently distributed winter bags to workers.
Ali al-Salat al-Salat, head of Media at QFA, appreciated QC s efforts in implementing humanitarian and charitable projects within Qatar and worldwide. He said QFA made the in-kind donations, believing that the investment of such resources is essential and positive.
Al-Salat added that these donations contribute to supporting Qatar Charity for the benefit of workers and low-income families, noting QFA s previous contribution to QC s humanitarian efforts. He also affirmed QFA s keenness to participate in community activities with relevant bodies, including Qatar Charity, to bring about a positive change in society.
