Tobacolor can be found at the Dior boutique inside the Beauty Store of QDF’s South node retail plaza, which includes a wide selection of global brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, Estee Lauder, Lancôme, and Yves Saint Laurent.

Qatar Duty Free (QDF) announced yesterday the worldwide exclusive launch of Tobacolor at a grand unveiling ceremony at the Dior boutique at Hamad International Airport. Tobacolor an oud, inspired by notes and tones from the Middle East marks the first-ever launch of a Maison Christian Dior fragrance within travel retail and will be exclusively available at QDF during February before becoming available worldwide.
Qatar Airways said it has further expanding its strategic partnership by signing an expanded codeshare agreement with Iberia.
The agreement, according to the airlines, would enhance connectivity between both airlines’ complementary networks and would offer additional travel options to customers travelling between the Iberian Peninsula, Latin America, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East via the Best Airport in the Middle East, Hamad International Airport.
Speaking on the development, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, Akbar Al Baker, said: “We are pleased to further expand our codeshare cooperation with Iberia, Spain’s largest carrier and the leading airline connecting Europe with Latin America. Despite the challenges of 2020, it has been our priority to maintain reliable global connectivity for our passengers.
(18 Jan 2021) Qatar Airways has received the 5-Star COVID19 Airline Safety rating by Skytrax.
The rating follows a detailed audit, carried out by the Skytrax team in December 2020, which assessed how effectively and consistently the airline’s COVID19 hygiene and safety standards and procedures are adhered to, from flight check-in to on-board aircraft.
The audit included a full review of procedural efficiency checks, visual observation of hygiene and safety levels at all stages of the passenger journey, and on-board Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) sampling tests to measure the potential level of contamination of contact surfaces.
Qatar Airways’ home and hub, Hamad International Airport (HIA)received a Skytrax 5-Star COVID19 Airport Safety Rating in December 2020.
