The two were released Thursday from the emergency migrant children’s shelter at the coliseum after they turned 18. Catholic Charities put them up in one of their facilities. Their release comes amid a call from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott to shut down the facility because of allegations of sexual assault, neglect, understaffing and a disregard for COVID-19 protocols.
