FARGO Fargo police said on Tuesday, April 20, the investigation into vandalism to a statue of Jesus Christ in front of St. Mary s Cathedral in downtown Fargo was ongoing, but no new details were available.
The vandalism, which occurred sometime early Saturday, April 17, involved black paint being sprayed on the face of the white marble statue.
The paint has since been removed from the statue.
The Jesus statue at St. Mary’s Cathedral that was recently vandalized has now been cleaned on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in downtown Fargo.
