For the past several months, I have watched to see if the housing market would be affected by the work from home phenomenon that began a year ago.
As the pandemic hit, many people were lost jobs while others shifted to working from home. The impact hit our transit system immediately as the office towers in the Edmonton core emptied.

When September rolled around, a significant number of children remained home as parents worried about the spread of COVID-19. Others found the benefits of on-line learning outweighed the stresses of returning to school while health issues remained.
