Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has welcomed United States President Joe Biden’s approach to intentional affairs after the pair held their first official bilateral meeting on Tuesday.
They discussed the pandemic response, trade and immigration and pledged to work together to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
“US leadership has been sorely missed over the past years and I have to say, as we are preparing the joint rollout and communique from this one, it's nice when the Americans are not pulling out all references to climate change,” Mr Trudeau said.
