DALLAS, Texas (KFDA) - The 2020 high school football season will be one to remember for the Canadian Wildcats, but not because they won their 5th state Championship. Rather, the 2020 Wildcats football season will be remembered as the championship that came in a season where the team wasn’t even sure they would get a chance to play football.
“I think it’s more special because of the COVID and the whole mess we’re in and not knowing if we would even get to this point,” said Shannon Cochran. Cochran is the father of Reagan Cochran, a linebacker and tight end for the Wildcats. Cochran scored the final touchdown of the game.
