March 11, 2021 The Community Health Northwest Florida COVID-19 testing site at Cantonment Pediatrics will be closed Thursday and Friday. Also: COVID-19 testing at Brownsville has moved to Jackson Street from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday. COVID-19 testing at Jackson Street will be combined rapid testing and send outs from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday. The changes were made to accommodate various COVID-19 vaccination events.

December 24, 2020 Community Heath of Northwest Florida has announced hours for COVID-19 testing in Cantonment and Brownsville during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The testing sites at Cantonment Pediatrics and the Brownville Community Center will be closed Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. The sites will be open regular hours all other weekdays, including New Year’s Eve. Weekday hours are 9 a.m. until 1 p.m at Cantonment Pediatrics and 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Brownsville Community Center. Both locations offer drive-thru testing for individuals without symptoms. No pre-screening required,  just show a photo identification and insurance card if insured.

77 Deaths Statewide, Five Locally Another 7,391 COVID-19 cases were added according to Sunday s FDOH report. Another 77 deaths were reported, bringing the total to 21,514. Five deaths locally, three in Escambia, one in Okaloosa and one in Walton. No deaths reported in Santa Rosa County.  Local numbers Santa Rosa added 104 cases and has a 30.21% new case positivity rate Okaloosa added 36 cases and has a 9.24% new case positivity rate Walton added 30 cases and has a 16.06% new case positivity rate Saturday, Dec. 26 17,042 Cases Added In Two-Day Post-Christmas Report The state added 17,042 cases according to Saturday s FDOH report. The report accounts for two days as data was not added on Christmas. The state also added 142 deaths, 12 of which were reported locally. Eight in Okaloosa, one in Santa Rosa and three in Escambia. No deaths reported in Walton County.
