BROCKTON If you turn it sideways it looks like a waterfall, said a shy 12-year-old boy looking at his painting. He was speaking to Brockton Arts President Arnie Danielson after an art lesson at the Milton Art Museum earlier this year shortly after the museum s opening. Those were the boy s first words after painting for over an hour, Danielson recalled. Danielson, having worked in art his whole life, saw how practicing art lifted the spirits of the boy from the time he came in to the time he walked out. I want a better city, and part of that is providing the emotional, creative and artistic infrastructure that a city needs, said Danielson, who is the curator of the museum.
