For so many years, one week in July at the Cumberland County Fairgrounds featured 4-H fun and exhibits, Demolition Derby, amusement rides, festival food and more.
Then in 2020, the fair, like so many other events, was canceled because of COVID-19.
As the situation with COVID-19 began to improve and restrictions on gathering began to change, there was hope that the 2021 fair would go on.
Unfortunately, the recent announcements regarding updates to COVID-19 restrictions, which will allow events such as fairs and festivals to be held, did not come in time for the Cumberland County Fair Association to organize and promote a successful fair this year.
